Sound settings for footsetps?

It's about time I up my game.

Using a 7.1.4 speaker setup.

I cannot hear footsteps at all on my system with the PC version of the game. I then switched to the Xbox version of the game, and they are audible, all of which are using the same sound system. I went into Windows, and tested my speakers, and everything is working there. The problem here is I can't turn up the speakers, as everything already is super loud. Just looking to increase the volume of only the footsteps.

I use a 5.1 system on PS5, and I can hear footsteps fine. Sounds like an issue with the PC version since you experienced the same on xbox. All these little bugs are why I ended up opting to go PS5 instead of PC for this game.

Also use Home Cinema instead of headphones after making the changes Spyboticer suggested.

there is no Home Cinema

there is Home Theater
and Cinema

Personally I used dolby atmos program with the gaming highs tweaked, and use the stock headphone settings in game. No probs here
