I try to start the game and when I click start the button turns blue and then green again in the bootstrapper it only displays Failed to open config file (2). help

i have this same problem it went away before but this is the longest it has been like this for like a day or to will reinstall when i leave out for work to see if that fixes it

verified integrity of game files and it got fixed

deleted the boot strapper files in the cod folder and it worked for me

For me, I just ran the bootstrapper.exe in the game's file directory, then it started doing an update on steam, then it started to work.
