POTENTIAL CRASHING FIX & PRISON BREAK GAME-BREAKING BUG SOLUTION

I wanted to put a post up because I, like several others, have been having crashing issues along with a game breaking mission bug in the Prison Break mission (NO SPOILERS) with the early access campaign.

POTENTIAL CRASH FIX (mission bug explanation further down)

First my system setup so if others have a similar build, this is what worked to prevent the crashes for me.
Ryzen 7 5800X
RTX2070 8GB
32GB system memory
Windows 11
OS and Game BOTH on separate SSDs

NOTE if at any point the game asks you to start in safe mode, do it. Once successfully launched then you can tweak your graphics settings back to the way you want them/your system needs them.

First make sure your drivers are up to date, that may very well correct your particular issue, if it does not then do the following.
1. Regardless if you are on a laptop or not, adjust your system power settings in Windows to max power/performance mode.
2. Open the Nvidia Control Panel (not to be confused with GeForce Experience)
3. In the control panel, left side go to Manage 3D settings, in the center area click the Program Settings tab. In the drop down box select Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022). Scroll down to Power management mode and change it from "Use Global Settings (Optimal Power)" to "Prefer Maximum Performance". Click apply and close the control panel.
4. Start the game using safe mode if you are prompted.
5. Once you get to the mission select screen make sure you wait for the Rendering/Shaders notification to complete 100% before launching whatever mission you were on.

PRISON BREAK BUG (no spoilers)

At a point in this mission you will be on a catwalk on an outer perimeter wall where you are told to use the rope to go down. The action for the rope will not appear and you will be sniped until dead regardless if you take cover or not. Once you are told to use the rope, run back into the tower with the door that opened just before this part (you will understand what I mean when you get there). Wait in this room until the NPCs use the rope to go down (this will take a minute or two while they just stand there getting shot repeatedly). All but one NPC will go down, once everyone except that one last NPC goes down, haul a$$ out of the tower room straight to the rope and click it as quickly as possible before you get sniped.

same...i am dead before i can get to the rope.... smoke dosnt work ..
