light bug in alone mission

wtf is this guys. i bought a 100$ game with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unity's bugs

OMG 😳 7 days before official launch you have bug in one campaign mission. For me its only way - refund 🙃

Seems to be an Nvidia-Related bug. Friend has this as well with a 3070ti and i never had it with a 6600xt from amd.

IDK if something nvidia-side can fix that, because i dont have any nvidia-card lol.

I wouldn't say that this is a minor missable bug. It makes the whole mission unplayable. It seems like this was an issue in Modern Warfare 2019 aswell. Check this out https://www.esportstalk.com/news/modern-warfare-blinding-light-bug-breaking-game-some-players/

For me is when i get to a certain point in the beginning of the mission that this happens, and i can't see anything. Doesn't matter where i go or where i look, i'm basically blind and can't progress. Reloading save, restarting mission or restarting game didn't help.

I'm not really complaining though, just frustrated to not be able to continue. This'll get fixed eventually.

wait untill the mission after Alone. The prison you break into is filled in lightposts around the map that blind you more than a flashbang. It's ridiculous and a rookie oversight for a triple A title.

hello i got this bug too, whatever im looking at, if there is some light point in the map i will see it, it's very upseting me someone have an solution pls ?

not a real solution but i completed the mission looking down most of the time (temporarily fixes it) and if you use the thermal scope, you can still see everything. still a major pain to complete this way, however thats what i did. in the following missions, i did not have similar issues. playing on 2070Super

i know what hes talking about i got it before, its definitely not minor as it literally blinds you if you look at a light source. it pretty much is unplayable because you quite literally cant see

I found a temporary fix to the blinding light bug, even though the light shining through objects still remains for me. Reset shader optimization while in the main menu and the harshest of the bug went away for me

Re-validated the files and restarted at least two times. Worked for me but it's not an universal fix.

I repaired the game files in battle.net and restarted the shaders optimisation twice. Then I restarted Prison Break from mission select and the bug was fixed. I hope this helps.

Add me and my GTX10603GB is also doing it. I'm not very impressed either cause it seemed to ha w worked fine a week ago...
