GPU temp too high message?

Anyone else getting this in game message? My GPU is hovering low 70s according to HWInfo, but the in game temp sensor says otherwise. I’m on a 6750XT.

it pops up for me as well, i have a 6800xt but the temps are only getting to like 65 so really not bad

Are you using an AMD or Nvidia card?

I have the msg aswell , i have a 6650XT, running at 61` , the alerts really bothers me because i dont know if something is really wrong or not haha

i don't get the message but my gpu temps are hot enough to cook a hamburger lol

I have been using a RX 6800XT and get this message I found out that its because it goes off t-junction temperature (that is the hottest point on the GPU) rather than the average GPU temperature.
I fixed it by going into the AMD Adrenalin software and going to performance and tuning and changing how the fan curve works. The default one will never use your fans at 100% no matter how hot the gpu gets.

Just go into your interface settings and turn off the notifications.. we know our computers better than their broken crap does..
