well good bye then, no anti cheat is going to be perfect, cheat makers will probably have multiple options available at launch, its losing battle for the gaming industry only true way you could contend is with IP or full ID bans, problem with that most people will just ♥♥♥♥♥ about them and call them unfair.
IP bans? Lmao a lot of people can just reset their modem with dynamic IP, and ID doesn't do enough either. It's hardware level banning that helps more... but as long as Engine pOwner makes undetectables, this game will suck in that regard. They've already been doing HW bans....
more so, people were ALREADY CHEATING IN BETA. I've seen people aimbot and wall hack down there, come to think of it.
by ID i meant hardware ID my bad should have stated that, yes i know i also came up against them in BETA, my point was simply if he is going to leave if cheaters are in the game then he may as well not play the game.
IMHO the more the devs do to at least cul the cheaters the happier i am. something is still better than nothing, ant tbh vanguard was not to bad for me at least over the last couple months.
And thats why I appreciate the addition of using phone numbers to block cheaters. :)
This is why since CoD opted to stop allowing PC'ers to RENT/RUN their servers it's gone to hell in a handbasket. This system of them running the servers is horrible. Not only because of lag issues etc., but it's been a PC Community/Clan killer.
How is a Clan supposed to operate and enjoy themselves if they have Party Limits? How many Clans have only a handful of members playing CoD? Back in the days of CoD4... my Clan had over 100+ members and on any given night we had 20+ members hopping into the servers.
Back with rentable servers people could set their own map rotation, kick/ban cheaters, kick/ban idiots, set up servers with various mods and adjust specific server settings to what they wanted and not what's forced upon them. We use to run Crouch Only servers which were super popular... how many of those do you see within this forced system? NONE!
And the negatives utterly smash the positives ever since CoD has gone in this direction.
Read what I wrote, don't read into it.. Read what was put out in the everything you need to know.. it's really that simple
