see 8.25. muhahahahaha pure skill.
When I played on console, most of the time aim assist was pulling my crosshairs off my target due to everyone else running through my field of view. In fast paced situations, aim assist isn't strong enough on consoles to lock on to your target like aimbot on PC. Sure it helps a little, but I don't think it's giving anyone a significant advantage. Remember, we're talking about analog joysticks that have been around since days of Atari.
The point your attempting to make is moot... not everyone is highly skilled. I haven't played since MW2019, but I know I could hold my own and I could be mistaken... but didn't we have the option to disable crossplay?
bc with the current state of the game, thats the only option since a legit hack is being used.. still going to die to modded controllers tho.....
Honestly its ridiculas. Im usually the one saying PC players can obviously dominate all console players but play a game with tiny maps, insane fast TTK and the strongest autoaim ever and its actually unplayable as a mouse and keyboard player.
PPl just jump round corners and lock onto ur head mid air.... its awful
Im not playin until they add a crossplay off option until then gl hf all
I tried a few years back and no way. Been gaming for like 26 years and that trick is one that this old dog isn't capable of.
How is it 'moot'? That's the main reason why console players get aim assist and PC don't because of the technologies involved. I realize this point has been beaten to death for decades, but this the reason why it is.
You're right, not everyone has skill, but skill has to be learned and it's unique to everyone. As I said, aim assist does help to some degree but by no means do I think it's a silver bullet. Besides, how does the OP know for certain the console player he's getting killed by is using aim assist? What if that player has it turned off and he really is that good with a controller? It's easy to assume that's the case when you're frustrated because your azz is being handed to you. LOL
I bet in the 5 days it's been out... I got high blood pressure from all the stress. Literally 19 rounds out of 20 I'm in a sweat lobby with 6 players of 8 being console. Every night playing makes me want to throw my monitor out the window.

Watch for about a minute, he literally says he didn't put input in and wrecked three bots strafing, so "what do you think that will do in a player match?" He's demonstrating settings and how to dial in AA for max effect. Watch it for yourself, please 🙏
You can see the snapping in killcam in your own games. And the perfect tracking with superhuman reaction time.
I had a dude snap to me and hit me sky strafing with a parachute with an iron sighted bolt action, it was unreal.
I actually didn't even know about AA in this game, I was butt hurt this was so hard and thought everyone was just really, really good in cod since I haven't played a cod in years. I'm average at other FPS but was getting smoked here.
It was my wife watching me play that started to notice in the killcams and asked me to try with a controller.
When she's not even playing and correctly picks up that aim assist is so strong, that's wild. I didn't want to blame the game.
From there you watch vids and see the things people pull off with only left stick input and I realized I'm just fighting teams of aimbots lol.
