Crashes and Graphics Artifacts
Hi,

So I didn't notice this until the latest patch but there are some serious graphical glitches going on. Was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue?

Performance is about the same, but lighting clips through walls, showing bloom sphere effects from lamps/street lights/etc. far away. The screen will also flash white (I guess showing the skybox?) for a split second, then return to normal.

I'm running an RTX 3080 with the latest Nvidia Drivers and Windows 11.

Hey Guys it is an Nvidia issue and it is related to newer drivers. Roll back to an older driver from 2 -3 revisions ago. This fixed it for me. Another issue that causes crashes is in the interface settings turning OFF Parallax for in game UI which is just a 3d version of the in game menus that also causes the game to crash. I hope this helps someone. I mucked around for ages trying to work out the flickering image on my different setups. If you google it now enough people have worked it out and are offering these fixes. The other one is crashing if you are in a party which is kind of crap for a AAA title, hoepfully they push an update for that soon. Where is the QA? Anyways may the gaming gods gift you with high KDs and fast weapon level ups! :)

Thank goodness I'm not alone. I just downloaded the drivers today when I noticed it happening. Was not like this before.

You're not alone, i also have a 3080. I also get everything you described, reading online seems to be an issue introduced by latest drivers, hopefully patch/update soon. I also get random crashes now and then

don't worry your gpu isn't broken, mf nvidia released a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a driver update
Yeah I'm experiencing the exact same stuff as everyone here mentioned. It's very much nvidia being weird. I hope they roll out some sort of update soon.

I every once and a while get a black box or boxes looking thing not sure what exactly to call it. Only happened a few times and only when in the map.

I'm experiencing terrible FPS and graphics artifacts on a 3080ti. Rolling back to an old driver build does nothing for me. It was working flawlessly a day or two ago. I dont know what they did.

3080TI here, had constant crashes in campaign. Did some fixes and haven't crashed yet.
-look at the crash log in /user/{you}/appdata/local/activision/call of duty/crash_reports/{most recent ZIP}/dx_diag_oncrash.txt. scroll to the bottom and find any events talking about a crash. uninstall any programs or services mentioned in the crash log
- roll back driver to previous version (for me, nvidia 522.25)
- reset texture cache
- enable running as administrator for cod.exe (may need to also run the crash_handler.exe and steam itself as admin, i've had issues with the game refusing to launch)
- run game with additional arguments -d3d11
Just downgrade your driver. The latest Driver cause these problems

Whatever is crashing the game, its sometimes doing a full system crash with no blue screen.

Not good.
