I think it's a bug. I've been trying to set my game to performance mode and it resets every time I close the menu. Frustrating but I'm sure they're aware and it'll be fixed soon

Do what i said above, there is video guide for you.
Just allowed all .exes in the folder through windows defender. Still bugging out. I accepted the optimal settings, went in to the main menu, quit out and relaunched. Same ♥♥♥♥. Still saying there is a hardware change and not saving my settings after being applied.

Not just exe files, you need to add game saves folder (in your Documents) to exclusions too. Open your Virus & threat protection settings and scroll down to Exclusions. Then press "Add or remove exclusions" and add game & game saves folders to exclusions.

I did. I did all of that. What fixed it was a full restart after all of this. Just allowing everything through and going straight in to the game didn’t fix it. I also went in then quit out and back in to make sure it was working. It worked until I left quickplay and went into co-op. After launching co-op and not deploying I checked my keybinds and they reset again. Obviously another bug. Total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Sad to hear bro, really don't know how to help. I hope they will fix this issue ASAP.

All good man, thanks for the tips. Staying away from Co-op for a while.

I’ve spend 3 days trying to fix this. Literally 3 days at home, working on it all day off and on. Still can’t figure it out. I’ve tried everything, from the read-only file method to the warzone settings method to reinstalling… nothing works.

For me it was windows defender blocking any software to manipulate the Documents-Folder in the User profile

For anyone having this issue with COD3 do the following:

* Start COD
* Start a DMZ game session (This will force the client to launch COD2)
* Once loaded, edit the settings.
* Click "apply settings"
* Exit the game
* Start COD(3)

That should be it

What's about auto-chute settings?
Still no fix?

Why would Activision not have a dedicated page?; it is that bad.
Launch DMZ: Beta and go through the MW2 settings then go back to Warzone MW3, and that fixed the launch screen :)
