Support for mouse with more than 3 buttons?

This game needs support for gaming mouses, I cannot map the keybinds with the buttons on my Logitech Hero and it's bothering me!

Use your mouse software to bind those special buttons which the game doesnt recognize...this is how its typically done. Most games only recognize a few mouse buttons which forces you to use your mouse software to bind those buttons in game...the software should allow you to create a game profile which you can name what you want...and then you point that profile to MWII's exe file so that the profile will load automatically once the game starts.

The Logitech software does not have native support for this game for now

If its a 502 hero you needd to set the specific key binds in a custom layout, i have mine set to brackets on the extra left clicks, and i have that bound to mount and inspect. it can be done.

Nor is it necessary.
All keys are recognized, as is their assignment in the LogiTech software.
(simply assign in mouse/keys configuration of the game.. DONE)
So what's the problem? Is it in front of the screen?
PS : I use the LogiTec G502HERO.

I have the same mouse, try mapping the third button on the left side, it's not possible

Mhmm.. all buttons work for me.
The game configuration also recognizes all assignments by LogitTecSoftware.
(e.g. the middle mouse button on the left is assigned to the function of the scroll wheel button).

ever figure this out? i cannot get the buttons that are by default DPI buttons to register at all in game. the side button in front of thumb doesnt work and neither does the 2 next to left mouse button. idk why these people are saying they can map them but even with a macro making it push the button, cod still wont let it work

Im confused what are you talking about? I use a razer mouse and you can kebind whatever you want?

you can bind each button to whatever you want in logitech software too. but in cod, it doesnt register what you set it as and instead does literally nothing

well I kinda found a fix for it. just try again lmao. it worked on like my 10th try and relaunch on the 2nd day

It's because logitech G software is automatically swapping to your "MW3" profile from your desktop profile when you tab into the game. You need to disable the profile or swap to onboard mode.
