Xbox live/can't join session install

Hi!

My game was installed some days back when the singleplayer came out.

I started the Multiplayer this morning. But after 5-6 minutes of the game right after I used a Crussile Missile the game freezes and crashes. The "report window" comes up and I sent the report to the support. I try to relog and start the game from my steam, but im unable to come in to the game. I cant press the play button in the left down corner. I try relog the game and then it pops up a window "xbox live/can't join session install" thats the error code.

I try relog again and now I cant even run the game, one time it said the game is not released yet.

I press the green "play" on steam library and then it changes to a blue "stop" button and a blue "cancel" button but right after that it comes back to the green "play" button and the game hasnt even been started.

*I have tried to:
uninstall/re-install the game on 2 different hardrives
Download latest drivers for NVIDIA
Checked windows updates
Checked firewall
Reset my network/router

I have tried to get the Xbox Support, but they couldnt help me. I dont even understand why Xbox has with my Steam game to do. I have the game on Steam...

Now I cant even run the game. The game wont start from my Steam library...

Anyone else have seen this type of "Xbox" error?

I have the same problem, if I completely reinstall the game it will launch but I still get the xboxlive/cantjoinlivesession_install error.

I did the exact same thing and it also says the same thing

uninstall and reinstall steam

any solution to those of us who use battle net?

I have a similar issue on battle net where I can launch into the "HQ" launcher but can't get into modern warfare II specifically. If I try to join somoene that is online I will also get the XBOXLIVE/CANTJOINSESSION_INSTALL error. I have re installed battle net, re installed the game 3 times on 3 different drives, gone through every setting and asked several people. Any help is appreciated!

me and my friend fixed it.. he doesnt install windows updates ...then he install it, now it works

I've tried updating windows, still have the same issue. I've also upgraded and downgraded my drivers and tried every supported driver with no success.
