Which is why I specifically ask from those who've tested after launch. There's a slight chance that the online requirement of campaign only applies to pre-launch. Knowing Activision, it's more likely that the online requirement stays, but I really want to know for sure - for both PC and consoles, if possible.

same reason i never played modern warfare 2019 campaign maybe wont beat the new one either but it is rad as heck though!

Pretty much like MW2019, you're just renting it.

In MW2019 every tiny glitch in your connection to the servers would kick you out to the main menu where your only option was to exit the game. It's probably the same horse crap again.

Even console players got somewhat screwed, they used to get full local multiplayer alongside campaign. Now they only get campaign and a whopping three TDM maps with no loadouts.
