ICYMI: Don't update Nvidia drivers - Here's how to rollback

As confirmed by Beenox (The Dev Team for the PC version of MWII), the latest Nvidia drivers might cause issues with MWII. It works for some but doesn't for others.

The issue is known but they suggest to stay on an earlier version in the meantime:

Here's how to revert to the recent version if you've already updated and experience issues (Please check before doing so as you might experience additional issues. This is more meant for the people who have major issues after the update):
Open Device Manager -> Display Adapters
Find your GPU -> Rightclick -> Properties -> Driver
And check if you can click Roll Back Driver.
This should work if the old version hasn't been deleted yet.

If this doesn't work and you run into major issues, there's also the possibility to use DDU to do a clean install of drivers.

Its been reported that a rollback can be even worse. Both drivers worked fine for me all day, Im confused but i did rollback a while ago and it still working.

I haven't personally checked it yet. Some can't even launch the game anymore so for those it can hardly go worse I guess, lol.
Hoping there will be a quick fix coming for the issue. I'd like to be on the newest one as well.

Also a good suggestion, especially if you want to have a clean install of an older version. Adding it to the post.

Only had to use it once myself as well and it's been a while. Still a good suggestion to test if everything goes rip.

No need to use DDU
If you have updated to the latest drivers and facing crashes, download from the official Nvidia website for version 516.59: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

im on Nvidia 522.25 and the game runs fine on campaign. there is the weird light glitch on the mission Alone and the Prison Break mission but other than that no crashes except when I try pushing the OC to hard on my 3080ti.

Why would you OC it, its still a great card. Give or take, i did have some crashing during SP but my 3080ti is factory clocked, nothing i can do about it.
