Game black screens on death in the 2nd to last mission.

I'm doing the mission "Ghost Team" and whenever I die I get a black screen when I try to load back in. This has been happening since the game swapped me to a different character and it bugged out when swapping back. I'm now on the part where Graves is trying to escape and it's borderline impossible because if I play cautiously, I run out of time and the game crashes OR if I book if I die because I'm on veteran and I don't know what I'm doing.

Anyone else have the same problem? Thoughts on fixes?

Having the same issue. Tried some things to solve it both nothing works. Eventually got tired and I don't think I will be finishing the campaign until after they've patched the game some more. Hoping the MP works better.

I also have this issue and it's a bit frustrating. I'm playing on Veteran so it's annoying to get 1-2 shot and then waiting for either the game to load the last checkpoint, or prompt me that the game has crashed.

I'll hold off on campaign for a bit.

ive have this. it's only blacked screen for a while if you keep pressing your keys or mouse. it will loading longer. i kept pressing F because i used to fast respawn and skip kill show. i just dont touch the keys and it loaded quicker. it's probably bug i would assume.

I got 2 black screen after enter the headquarters and got killed by armored enemies. It's gone after 1-2 mins of waiting.

all you can do is wait. It'll take 1-2 painfully long mins to load in, and then you just gotta hope that you succeed on that attempt, or it's another long wait for you

I had this issue a few times, the fix is simply to restart from level, you may run into the same problem again but i had to brute force my way trought Dark Waters, restarting mission over and over. Untill i finally said fuq it and just sprinted trought the whole map a few times, untill luck was on my side and i did not get rekt by the container section (i only played on veteran, that part is pure hell when you have to reload level to retry it), i basically found a pattern to run trought the whole map w/o taking any or much fire.

Currently stuck on Dark Waters after boarding the ship via the ramp. Verified file integrity to find about 33 files corrupted I suppose or missing? Did the download of them and still having the same issue. Can't proceed, and really don't feel like starting the entire mission over again. Will wait a few days and see how the developers or GPU driver creators respond with patches etc. Currently running RTX 2080 Founders with the latest drivers and an i9 9900K w/32GB of Ram.

Just had that happen not too long ago, I just restarted from checkpoint manually in the pause menu and it was a *bit* faster. As for getting through that part without issue, just carefully take out the armored guys with headshots, flash the room, and sweep the last three guys before booking it through the room. That part is easy, the part that pissed me off was the end of the level, but the checkpoints stopped taking forever to load there.

Hack developers as usual. Now it'll never be fixed because you're not supposed to play this game anymore. You need to buy NEXT PRODUCT.
