What the hell? No justification whatsoever... He was a normal anglo dude in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and now in this reboot, he has burned skin or something? How stupid is that ?

I don't like changes to an already existing character.

This feels to me like forced diversity, same as for gender swaps.

Just make a new character would have been the solution, more characters is always better.
