Personally I can only think of one or two games in the past 4 years that can honestly justify the full $60 MSRP that I have purchased. It was a matter of time honestly.
And as much value as it offers, technically a console player gets the game for $35 US, as they get the cross gen bundle. One copy for ps4/X1 and one copy for PS5/XSX. But now, since the increased price has come to PC.. what do we get? Nothing.
If it’s a problem, like so many people say for other games, money talks. Stop preordering, don’t give them any money before the game comes out, and honestly, if it’s all too bad, just skip the game.
What’s really new here? EFT style escape mode? If I wanted EFT i would play EFT. A short campaign would be nice, but hardly justifys $70 for that. There isn’t any zombies, warzone will remain free, and MP has been ruined for years with the super cracked out gameplay that has been present in each iteration. If they had actually returned to an era of cod where it simply worked and cod was meant to be played for fun instead of sweating pubs 24/7, it might be worth it for the MP. But gone are the olden days.
There has been pricing parity between PC and console games for a while now and it has been hard to find anyone who speaks out about it. Same goes with all this BS with preording games just to get "bonus content" at launch.
Now these corporate vampires are moving the yard stick yet again by trying to normalize increasing game prices to 70 USD and dragging that ♥♥♥♥♥ over to PC where you can't even own disk anymore and people just accept it. As matter of fact you will get push back for calling this out.
they are cheaper pc have many sites to buy cd keys, fanatical, instant gaming just to name a few if it is such a problem wait till a sale window
Not even listed on their store yet.
Well that was dumb because I never gave any indication that I even play on or own a home console and my point still stands, there is no shortage of people telling others to stop whining about unjustified price hikes.
The prices are the same. 59USD across the board. There are the usual suspects trying to get away with upping it to 70USD and COD is one of them.
The few exceptions go both way, especially post launch window.
