Guide to receiving the ghost legacy pack (they fixed it)

in the very bottom of the patch notes, it now says that they fixed "a bug" where the ghost legacy pack was not given to players who bought the vault edition pack on steam. You need to connect your steam to your activision on the Call of Duty website, but after that, you should get it in game for warzone/mw19. Again, you need to link the two accounts on the official COD website (https://profile.callofduty.com/cod/profile). Once you complete this, you will see at the top in green with a checkmark: "Your Steam Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Digital pre-order incentives have been entitled to your account. They will be available on all other platforms." this means that you will receive your ghost legacy pack items on battle.net or anywhere else you play warzone/mw19. Hopefully this helped!

Thing that helped for me is when logging into the activation website, rather then typing in your information manually. Select the steam logo and sign in with steam. I was struggling for awhile then kinda just got lazy of typing in my information so I clicked the steam to sign me in and BOOM. Everything worked

When I tried to log in using the steam icon in the cod website it sends me to register an account even though I already have an account and I was on the log in page

After waiting 24 hours, unlinking and relinking my Steam account, waiting for another couple hours and logging in through the COD website through my Steam account, I finally got the green website confirmation message and the pack itself. I wonder if I'll still have it after I refund the game. I'll wait a few days first.

Activision didn't warn you that you can't just link account every 12 months if you unlink?

Then contact customer support

They will ignore you. This happened to me countless times. Once they notice the problem is hard to solve, they will straight up ghost you.

It seems that it stopped working again, I recently realized I was eligible for the Ghost Legacy pack and followed the steps like you said. It gave me a green message where I was going to receive the items but when I reinstalled my mw2019 on battle.net, I checked and saw that I didn't get them. I'm assuming now that they either stopped doing them or its broken again.
