tell your 'friend' that
You think they enjoy hearing nothing but negativity about how they do nothing to combat cheating in games? As if ANY game has ANY chance of doing that anyway lol.
You are literally causing the uphill battle for everyone and every company that ever produces games. Just piss off. I hope that ban follows you for the rest of your life, just like it should.
Funny thing though, now that you've brought it to STEAM of all places, you are so fked haha! Steam karma follows you FOREVER, and individual game admins have learnt how to use these systems to keep you out of their games from cheating in others...Enjoy that, scum bag. Now you will never play another game in Steam without having a blackmark that can be seen.
This ^
I can see this blowing up into a nightmare for Steam and Activision, but especially Steam as it would seem they're defaming people as cheaters, without proof.
Buying previously banned used hardware has been a thing way before ricochet as there are more anti cheats that hardware ban but I’m not sure if a company would reverse your ban in that situation.
Plus you cant even refund the game, absolute nightmare they could easly get sued for this, they should correct this or it all depends on who sues first
Hah, there it is.
Maybe with proof of purchase or something, but if they're not even going to tell you why you got the ban in the first place, you're a bit in the dark.
Exactly. I can see the same.
Those of us that have had Steam accounts for years will remember people saying 'Steam don't offer refunds, it's in their T&C'
It wasn't until legal action was taken and Steam were forced to offer refunds, that people realised Steam's T&Cs don't actually remove people's legal consumer rights.
I sell you the right to use a service of mine, then I stop you using that service because of something you may have done years ago, without any actual proof you did it, then I refuse to give you a refund...
If I did that to you, you'd rightly call it a scam.
I wonder if Steam is actually looking at the situation and giving it some consideration.
they are playing to aggressive on banning cheaters they messed up this one, time will tell cant wait to see what happens
