bootstrapper.exe wont start

okay
ive uninstall did a fresh install did everything what people saying etc still not working even running in admin mode as well all of it doesn't work
getting realy tired of it now says ive play 20+ mins of it and i haven't even played 10 seconds of it

JUST started getting this error. I've had ZERO issues since launch day, and now I can't even launch the game.

I've re-verified game file integrity, restarted my PC, nothing...

Hrmm, I just ran this EXE and it fricking started up!

"D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Call of Duty HQ\codinstallcleaner.exe"


It did do a reset of my EULA acceptance, and then it told me it need to do and update, and then it restarted and came up.

Do you have bootstrapper.exe allowed through your firewall and antivirus?

JUST REDOWNLOAD THE WHOLE STEAM. IF STILL CANT JUST DM ME

So I found the fix. If that codcleaninstall doesnt work. I just opened event viewer. Discovered the issue lies with the bootstrapper. So i deleted bootstrapper and the crashandler. Re-verified, and apparently it had to reaquire 70 files.... It works now.
