This game is SO CHEAP ! What is da problem here?
So I have seen multiple threads about people complaining about the price of this game.

How can anyone think that this game is expensive is beyond me. Activision did you ALL huge favour by pricing it at £ 59.99. There are many more expensive things out there, games including.
Forspoken witll cost £ 65, $70. £ 59.99 is cheap in comparision

> It costs £ 27.99 to buy 1 Dominos pizza which you will consume in 30 miniutes.

> It costs £ 11.99 to buy cinema ticket which will end in 90 minutes.

> It costs £ 39.99 for 1 month of gym membership which will last a month.

> One restaurant visit will cost £ 85 for two and portions are not even medium size

> It costs £ 125 to park your car for two weeks at the airport.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will last two years ! You will have campaign, staggering number of multiplayer modes and new graphics made thanks to the new, upgraded engine.

If that is not worth £ 59.99 I dont know what is.

Edit 1: more data for undecided
Dudes one pack of cigarettes cost £ 14.99. If you smoke 4.5 a week thats price for Vault edition. Stop smoking, vaping and in 1 week, just one week you will be able to afford top tier edition of the game. You wont even need to cut on groceries and will be healthier (no smoking) and happier (COD) owner.

Edit 2:
Everybody knew that this game was coming. It was guaranteed like autumn rain.
Modern Warfare was released in 2019.
Everybody had 36 months to save money to buy this masterpiece.
You only had to save £ 1.67 a month / that is $ 1.86.
This all comes down to poor planning. Dont blame game devs and publishers for that. They also have to put food on their families tables and deserve to be paid for this game.

That is not true. As a matter of fact, it's prohibitively expensive in some countries such as Canada, Australia, Ukraine, India, Venezuela, etc.

I did no Battlenet. I am contemplating whether I should go for STEAM version.

89.99 is not cheap. Your comparisons are skewed. You’re confusing and mixing needs and wants. The only comparison that holds any weight is the movie ticket. But even then, cinemas are slowly becoming obsolete when you can rent movies in your home for 6.99.

If you think about it, this game will last more than two years because they don't shut down the servers when a new game comes out.

Honestly, something's worth is really up to the person who is buying the product. There's plenty of people who don't put a lot of hours into shooters, so $70 for a game that won't really be touched much is expensive to them, but to people like myself, who want to play it with friends, it's definitely worth the asking price.

I also do believe that $60 is still too much for a lot of games that are released these days, considering there are a ton of games that are $60 for an 8 hour game with lackluster content after finishing the campaigns.

So really it depends on the person and the game.

You're comparing a video game very similar to a previous one to... Food, something human beings need to eat and... a Gym Membership...

AAA games are just overpriced, it's a fact of the matter, prices rise even when their profits increase due to a growing userbase and doubling down on MTX.

When you convert the price on the Canadian store to us you are actually paying less than $70 us.

Steam's regional pricing is messed up for countries that aren't the US.

You literally just need to smoke less, drink less alcohol, eat less fast food, drink less energy drinks, eat less chocolate, go to shop instead of driging atleast once for two weeks and you can easily afford this.

You’re paying 66.05 USD. You’re also forgetting tax which will bump the game up to like 95 CAD. Depending on the country and provinces sale tax.

The fact that you refuse to even acknowledge the big thing that is rent and groceries and how that can starve someone's finances makes me think you're a bit of a basement dweller.

Just be homeless bro. Call of Duty will take away the emotional distress of being homeless. c:

I guess you forgot about all the other price hikes such as food? Water? Natural gas? People also have bills to pay in order to keep their lights on and heat their homes. I know when you still live at home you don’t need to worry about that, but some of us grown ups do. Not to mention price hikes on resources that may run out someday makes sense. Price hikes on things that will never run out of resources, such as video games, is absurd.
