The CoD MW2 beta is the first CoD I have ever played, if I buy the game is it going to feel like a grindy free-to-play game and I need to purchase weapons/progress or not?

I am okay with cosmetics, but I am not okay with selling tactical advantages after I bought the game for SEVENTY DOLLARS 70$ This is my biggest and only concern.

You don’t need to purchase anything. The only grind is to unlock various weapons and attachments (Which don’t take that long).

The biggest grind is the camo challenges for each weapon. Though that is purely optional depending if cosmetics are important to you.

Anything else that you can purchase through micro transactions is cosmetic such as skins, camo and weird funky stuff.

no, theres no p2w mechanics in mw2 you just have to level up weapons to unlock attachments, obviously theres cosmetics but they dont provide any advantages, you can also unlock gun skins by doing camo challenges, watch a video about the new progression mechanics you will understand better

You can earn a lot of free gear just working the battle pass....it is mostly all cosmetic and an occasional free weapon. Once in a while the weapon you earn free becomes meta until its nerfed, but most cases it's middle of the road compared to all base weapons.

Look and feels like you're playing in dark mud and what you mean by "safer"? People can get hacked in any multiplayer game. If MW2 had such a huge issue, Steam and the company would not leave it on for sale just like other games that had online issues. Everyone has failed to prove such a thing happens in real time game play.

I love cod. i just don't believe everything you claim. You're the one who kept creating threads about things you have no proof of. concepts don't mean anything when so many players still play and hardly anyone complains about things you do.

There are no pay to win elements on this game. The only thing you can buy are the skins via bundle or battle pass. Then it's easy to unlock all the accessories of a weapon, it doesn't take much time. The only thing that might require grind is the weapon camouflages, but they don't offer any advantages, they're just cosmetic.
