Stars puzzle

I can't figure out how to solve this puzzle after 3 days straigh I did the sin, I clicked on hint and instead of it give me a hint how to solve it gave me the answer and I got disappointed... It was suposed to give a hint and not the answer, but the hint was there WITH the answer and I ignored the answer and tryed to understand the hint and it makes no sense to me, at least it didn't make things look worse sin I could understand a bit about the hint. Spoilers ahead The hint shows the answer above but below shows the hint, a picture of the stars puzzle and point to what it looks like stars looking at the telescope but when I go to the telescope there is nothing there, there are no stars in the sky. Or this puzzle is broken or it's a bad design of the devs how to give a hint and also not give the answer.

I don't know the full answer to the puzzle, but I do know you have to
slide the focus on the telescope up and down to see the stars.

Yeah I solved it, it was bugged for some reason after sliding it it wasn't working as intended. I started a new game and rushed into this part and it was working, thanks.

I was frustrated as well, the star puzzle was unintuitive and full of red herrings, and the "hints" should not give away the answer.
