Ancient Legacies
So, I only have experience with the Egyptian Ancient Legacies at the moment, however I would like to bring up a slight criticism of the Ancient Legacy mechanic that I believe draws away from the overall experience within the campaign if only slightly.
Two of the four options should not be exclusive systems and those two are Hatshepsut the Merchant and Khufu the Builder.
I adore the idea behind the background resource mechanic found with Hatshepsut's Legacy, Sending a caravan out to trade goods and obtain resources, armour, weapons, mounts, followers and powerful faction/city effects should not be locked behind an Ancient Legacy, it should be a mechanic that all three major powers have access too regardless of who they choose to play as. It enriches the game and gives players another campaign mechanic to keep an eye on and engage with every few turns and the fact that you have to choose between it or one of the other legacies is tragic.

The second legacy, Khufu the Builder, well is there anything more iconic to Egypt that the raising of great monuments? The fact that something so iconic is locked behind the Ancient Legacy mechanic is once again tragic. Now, I do believe that it makes more sense for Khufu to be an Ancient Legacy than Hatshepsut but it still locks away a mechanic that enriches the game if you didn't choose this legacy.

The other two legacies actually make sense as stand alone legacies, but I believe the two legacies I have mentioned should just be campaign mechanics that if not all of the factions then at least all of the Egyptian factions should be free to engage with no matter which legacy they have chosen.

TL;DR: All factions should be able to use the caravan system and build awesome monuments without having to choose one or the other.

It might have something to do with the signs of the times, while pharaohs were building temples etc, it wasn't to the scale of the pyramids. The Pyramids are still well over 1000+ years old at this time frame.

I would actually like to see more resources in game overall, trade routes etc. Mainly for finished goods, silver, tin, amber etc. Something more to protect and fight over to keep civilization thriving, as well as simple benefits to trade of the good (happiness, prestige a little bit gold whatever) nothing too game breaking.

I agree, those would be wonderful additions. I feel like a caravan systems that combined aspects of Troys Mythical Expeditions and Warhammers Cathay/Chaos Dwarf Caravans would have been perfect in this title, if they had paired those along with the background resources we see in Hatshepsuts mechanic it would have been a whole new level of economic gameplay for a Total War title and I for one would welcome such innovation.
