On the battle side, tactics suffer from a lack of unit variety due to the Bronze Age limited tech (the saddle wasn't invented so cavalry wasn't a thing), but the dynamic weather conditions and special terrain types help with keeping things fresh so far.
However, I think the full price is only for people who:
1. Like historical Total Wars.
2. Enjoy the time setting (which is always important)
Otherwise, wait to grab it at discount.

Think that video game prices have barely budged in almost 30 years, especially relative to production values.
Nope Total War Warhammer 2 has more selection and variety of Egyptian units than this game has in terms of all factions combined. This game is a Total War light for the full price even the other gameplay and ingame events are boring and not worth it.
