Expanded Map
Kind of wondering if anyone has ever put out there possibly creating a map similar to what CA did with immortal empires in Warhammer, but with historical titles spanning from the bronze age and progressing through the Empire TW time frame?

Basically you can pick where and how early to begin, and then you just play until industrial age. or is that too much for historical titles?

Probably not the hole planet considering it's the Bronze age. It could however be expanded more towards the medateranian, Iran, Afghanistan, Nubia

iit's my hope.
at least they can give those who already have Troy Total War the possibility of integrating the maps and the faction of the achaeans and the league of assuwa.

after all, they kept the battle UI and unit cards the same as Troy's, maybe that means something…

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the Pharaoh map already include southern Greece, in the same way that Three Kingdoms included - but didn't utilize - (part of) Korea?

That's probably a hint that one of the faction packs will open up the Aegean or at least part of Greece.

I mean, they already have most of the world in maps between all of the old historical titles. all they are missing is the lower part of Africa and South America. but, even with only Europe and Asia, it could be stitched together to become a pretty epic game. Even if it started in the bronze age.

Problem with that is, then we would have to make ♥♥♥♥ load of assumptions, some regions may not even have any significant archeology from the period, thus having to make guesses. How lived where when, their technology, where they settled, their relationships outside etc.

However, I would love if you could get to China and some parts of Europe

That's what I'm hoping they end up doing with their DLCs and updates (well more updates seeing what they did with Mortal Empires and immortal Empires. From Greece to the Iranian Plateau and maybe further south into Sudan and Ethiopia and maybe further south than that.

This is what everyone hopes they intend to do.

This type of game exists; civilization or humankind. For copyright reasons they probably cannot use the Total War battle system, and for the same reason Total War can probably not be inspired by Humankind. Everyone has their own corridor.
