Time to remove Denuvo

It's been out for over a year. Would be nice to be able to play the game without third-party DRM draining my CPU cycles. It's not being updated any more, reviews are still "mixed"... I mean, why even bother with keeping Denuvo? Well, whatever, you already got my money, I guess, even if it was through Humble Choice.

Despite my backlog, including Total War games, I'm considering getting this in this month's Humble Choice. The only thing holding me back is Denuvo and CA's terrible track record with removing Denuvo from their games. If the servers ever get taken down, I lose access to the game, which tremendously lowers the value of the game to me. I don't necessarily mind Denuvo, or other DRM, initially, but it has to be backed by reliable commitment to remove it in some reasonable amount of time.

I've done some poorly informed purchases in the past, so I own more Denuvo titles than I'd like, but it's certainly holding me back now. Please, CA, remove Denuvo (without replacing it with other online-requiring DRM) from your older titles! I can only speak for myself, but you're getting less, if at all, money from me because of Denuvo. I know the majority of sales tend to come near release, so please, consider removing Denuvo once enough time has passed! It does matter.
