Worth buying the game now?
or should I wait for the patch release?
Can get for 15 eur now but I wonder if price will go up after the patch

definitely, it is probably worth the normal sale price or 15 in content in the current state, and there is absolutely enough to keep you happy until dynasties releases, you can wait for a better sale, but it's good

I'm thinking the same, I've watched the ups and downs of this game with a keen eye, as a long term total war fan, but I'm thinking now is the time to take the plunge as I can get it cheap on cdkeys and when the update comes out the website I use will probably rise the price.

Looks like a real turnaround for this game and to play as Troy sounds great, I never played the tw Troy game and this apparently will make it unnecessary as it contains that essentially, minus the mythological aspect.

It's the new engine aswell so I'm going for it.

I'll be posting on this board soon I'm sure!

Yes, but when is next TW sale? I wanna get Three Kingdoms.

I will definitely wait for the next release! The reality is that the final highlights of TW Pharaoh, the so-called main historical title in 2024 are the maps of Greece and Turkey (incorporating Troy), which we have already seen in several other titles and, incredibly, are only now going to introduce a family tree, sumptuously called dynasties! This would be the minimum expected from the beginning. Disappointing! There really is some very serious problem in CA for the series to be in such a deplorable state!

I would not reccomend it in the current racial climate.

I absolutely recommend it. Especially with the free Dynasties update. Even the full $40 for this game is a steal.

To be honest, I got it cheap and I don't have any desire to play it. I played maybe for 1 hour or so. It strongly reminds me on Troy, which was terrible, but with worse graphics and even worse mechanics. Just doesn't feel like a real Total War game, like Total War Rome 2. It's more like a undercooked mode for Troy or something. This game doesn't have a soul or passion. That's my opinion, feel free to disagree if you want.
