Hmmm.... i get what you mean but its not quite same as Shogun 2 / Fall of Samurai relationship
Fall of Samurai was originally a DLC. Later they made it a saga game. Pharaoh and Pharaoh dynasties are going to be same product from the off set.... its not a separate steam store product from what i understand. Bit like Rome 2 then Rome 2 empire edition that came out a year later or whatever it was.
Yes correct
It's likely just wording. People trying to parse these things like lawyers are wasting their time. It's a FAQ, not a legal document
Well yes, it could just be whatever. That's why as i stated, i don't think theres much point holding ones breath over it.
That said, CA have been known to be specific with wording in past, both in dropping hints and implying things. Pharaoh especially has been hit hard due to poorly worded public announcements / relations. Its only going to be human nature for people to read into things, even more so when there is history of it.
So Total War Pharaoh Dynasties is more what it says than a Pharaoh adds on.
It also makes more sense to just wrap it up in one game for technical reasons, it's just a bigger game now.
If sales go well I think we can expect more, but we will just have to wait and see. It will be very good value for money once Dynasties is released, so I think chances are good.
Yes. Except for the fact that the gaming industry has changed radically over the past decade if you haven't noticed that already. Every news output from AA levels upwards is now so carefully worded as if the whole capitalistic world system depended on it. Or put differently: they are, in fact, now commonly worded like legal documents except that the technical vocabulary is different, of course.
