If you have built one, It would be warriors refuge that can sometimes auto recruit a unit that might cost you gold so may need to check your forts etc to make sure you haven't had one auto recruit this way.
If still not sure, open up your treasury tab, its a little circle you can click on up top of your screen near your resources, you can then open the financial breakout tables and it will be specific where the gold is going. So should help pointing you in the right direction in what to look for.
The Warriors Refuge randomly spawned a Tier 5 unit which I can't really afford at the moment...is there was to disband units within a warrior refuge? It doesn't seem possible.
Thanks!
You can recruit the unit into your army and then disband, no?
Issue is this seems to occur more frequently than not when my army is across my territory...
So I've been raising a general nearby for the sole purpose of doing what you're stating...but that seems like it shouldn't be necessary...
But is it? Seems like a strange oversight in design.
Maybe, but do you need the refuge at this time? Typically i always have standing armies in my territory instead of forts but that just my preferred playstyle.
EDIT: Can you remind me where you are picking them up? Its from the fort if i recall correct or from the refuge itself? Been a long time since ive used this building, i usually demolish it.
The question is that can you select the units and disband from there without the general?
Doesn't look like you can...but I am starting to see how the design/use of the refuge might be more limiting than I thought.... perhaps demolishing them is the best!
Yes it depends on your build and preferred playstyle.... personally i will want a number of other outposts in its place and if you are trying to get your economy underway they may not be the best selection to have to start with as they also require upkeep for the outpost and then for whatever units that auto recruit.
Some of the units that can get recruited are very good such as Panoply Spearmen so there are benefits but is situational.
They are super cool in mid/late game, though, to specifically farm those special high tier sea peoples units.
Hmm, this is nice to know,,, i wasnt aware of this.... probably because i demolish them. Lol.
Would of swapped them out with Waystations, Trade outposts, Shrines of Ashera and Shrines of Yamm.... the high resource reductions etc pretty hard to pass up the way i play.
You should also be able to destroy the outpost to force the units inside to disband that way. At least it works like that for the forts.
