It is technically still an iteration of the warscape engine, but it is by far the smoothest running and best optimised TW to date.

Personally, I followed Geforce Experience's recommendations and the game is very well optimized.

This and Troy have probably the best performance of all TW games, so if it runs bad that's on your rig.
