Pharaoh & Troy: Immortal Empires?
I've noticed with the photos released, as well as from videos; that the map around Anatolia and the lands of the Hittite Empire in TW: Pharaoh seems to cut-off around almost the exact same area of the territories at the extreme borders in Total War: Troy.

What are the chances that they might add the Troy map into Pharaoh in the future, sort of similar to the Immortal Empires with Warhammer I & II, where all factions and territory from the previous games are added to create one mega map in Warhammer III. Perhaps Sega & CA Sofia are gauging to see how successful Pharaoh is before committing to this project, which is why they have not made any official announcements yet. Maybe if it is a success, in the future they'll release a Total War: Babylon, which will extend the map into Mesopotamia, giving us the full Near East Late Bronze Age experience.

Personally I haven't played TW: Pharaoh so I have no idea how big the map is, and whether it could actually slot in with Troy. Maybe the Aegean coast for TW: Troy is too big in comparison.

Do you think this is a possibility or not? Would you actually want to see something like this, or prefer the two games to remain separate?

Some people think it'll happen.

Hmmm. Yeah, i don't know. The entire campaign and battle mechanics from Troy and Pharaoh are significantly different. It won't be simply stitching two maps together and all good.... there would be significant work to do it.

From a personal bias, i do want the inclusion of Greece, Cyprus, Aegean and western Anatolia etc... just not a stick on one.

"Historical" campaign Troy is closer, but would still require a complete rework. map scale is off too.

So, I suspect any Aegean additions would end up looking a lot like the Homeric Mycenaeans seen in Troy TW. But it would not be as simple as just plugging the maps together.

Agreed.
