How to get rid of Pharaoh and him puppeting all of Egypt?
I reached a deadlock in my game and don't know how to get out.

I play as Tausret but after some time of expansion I can't attack anyone around me. Everyone I try to invade will run to Seti (Pharaoh and strongest faction) to become his puppet forcing me to drop the fight (can't face him and his allies, aka puppets). This happened several times and now everyone around me is just Seti's puppet and I don't have enough resources to face two-thirds of ancient Egypt on 3 fronts.

Is there any way out? I can't find any diplomacy tool to overthrow/kill Seti or make him lose his allies.

I'm sorry, I can't give you any advice but your predicament made me chuckle.

You should be able to use court plots to discredit or assassinate the Pharaoh, which should open the throne and allow a civil war.

This should create unstability you can take advantage of. Otherwise you ought to develop a larger power base somewhere. Further South in Nubia or north in Canaan.

It's Total War, bro, not Total Peace. Just fight them lol.

That actually sounds like a really interesting situation to be in.

Personally, I'd just roleplay it out.

That's what I wanted to do but his legitimacy is growing faster than mine so it's impossible to chatch up for me :/

So you need more legitimacy. Build a power base somewhere first. I'd suggest going to give Amenmesse a beating.

Fortify two fronts. Amass all fully upgraded armies on one front. Declare civil war. Blitzkrieg that one front in an all-out flash assault. Capture settlements and move on, don't worry about rebellions. Aim for troop upkeep production centers over others IE bronze, food. Deprive them of what they need to conduct live war.

After ~12 turns the civil war will end. In your situation it sounds like Seti will still be Pharoah due to his influence BUT you will have grown bigger, more resources, and weakened your opposition. If it takes 2-3 civil wars to close down fronts and grow in power, then do so.

When it comes to the big war against a huge opponent, IE big showdown with Seti for you, have 1 army of weak troops already placed well behind his lines. After war breaks out, their job is to hit and run as many weakly defended valuable settlements behind enemy lines and disrupt their economy. Any armies spent dealing with this sacrifical stack is one less invading you.

Also don't forget sea people. There's a chance that while Seti and co are fighting the Angry Beach Boys, you can find an opportunity.

Game has big problems when it comes to how much "Legitimacy" the Pharaoh earns...
I have conquered 90% of the map and the pharaoh still has more Legitimacy, The reason i even conquered the map was because i needed to, to earn enough Legitimacy to start a Civil war and overthrow the Pharaoh....

The pharaoh only holds 1 Region of the map and has 457 Legitimacy where I only have 211

I gave up on doing things Through the court and decided to just Kill everyone, might as well since i was the Number 1 most powerful.

oh and Assassinating the Pharaoh was out of the Question because it was a 0% chance every time...

That's insane. I am at 25% of the map and have 400+ legitimacy. Are you building monuments and temples?

And here I am with just three full provinces and more Legitimacy than I know what to do with.

The Aten seems to be very OP in that regard.

Your only hope is that sea people invasion will weaken him enough so you have an upper hand again.

yeah, Monuments and temples in all my regions, only lost 1 battle and had about 10 armies.

Were you the Pharaoh in your game?

Yeah, pretty early on. I'm King of the Hittites on my Bay campaign and have 450 legitmacy and no pretenders.

It's so weird, can't really advise you any further mate.

nah it's not weird, it just makes me think that Kingdom leaders (Hittite king/Egyptian Pharaoh) get pretty huge Legitimacy bonuses that i think need to be reduced so that when you're playing as a non-pharaoh/Hittite King, you can actually catch up and actually start a Civil war if you waited until mid game to do it.
