What is going on ? Where is Medieval 3 total war ?.We already have Rome 2 total war , so why they are making pharaoh ? .No body knows.
Creative Assembly is so lazy , that they have no idea how to make Medieval 3 total war.The last great total war game was Shogun 2.After that , every total war game was average.

Well yeah, we don't know the full picture but this certainly could be a possibility of a new period under development. If renaissance, then i would hope for a game to be a renaissance and not a medieval game.

As far as Pharaoh is concerned we will have to see... if they stick to the Historical formula and flesh it out to make a stable, engaging game then great... if they go Troy+ with half baked experimental mechanics then i will take a pass.

I don't think that this is the next big historical total war game.

It is developed by creative assembly sofia after all and they are not a main title developing team yet as far as I know.

Why don't these smelly basement dwellers go out and make their own Medieval 3, then? At least it would stop the unending spam of crybaby threads by lazy children like this one.

The main CA team is working on some other game, possibly hinted to be a new medieval title.

I agree that it's a silly direction for Total War to go, but then again, Rome 2 was a complete failure of a game as well, so I expected nothing more from them as far as a "historical" title is concerned.
For better or worse, CA has decided to milk the Warhammer cow for the foreseeable future and, therefore, I doubt we'll get a quality historical title until it runs dry.

You are 100%.Warhammer killed historical titles.Thats why we will never get a good historical Total War game any more .The last good total war game wa Rome 2 after patches , and shogun 2.After that every new total war game is very much average.
