You realize that these decisions may not be purely theirs, right?
They need permission to use certain things.
More accurately you need to pay a license fee. In their effort to maximize their profits, they stopped even doing that. Save some money, screw the customer, it's all good.
There is zero way to know the reason.
None of that provides any clue to how an international organization is allowing its license to be used. It doesnt have to be money related. Or just an absurd amount demanded.
I'm not defending PT. Its greedy and predatory to the very core.
But in the end, OOTP devs arent just game devs. If you spend any time with them on Twitch or Discord, you find they are hardcore baseball fans and they play the game themselves constantly. And not just PT. They all run Franchises. They aren't tanking Franchise mode on purpose. They care about it. It's unfair to them to throw out accusations without any tangible proof whatsoever.
Btw, is it any coincidence that the Korean ownership got rid of the Japanese leagues? Are people really that obtuse to what is really going on here?
Calm down Alex Jones. As usual, you're wrong, but that's okay.
