Roster Editing Question
I'm doing a manual roster update and I was wondering is there any way to apply a player's college commitment? Also it would be great to be able to unretire players, as I've encountered several players that have been signed but are retired in the game.

Just edit his NCAA league rights to the team you want him committed to. You can unretire players as well, it's just a checkbox in the player edit screen (in the "personal details" section.) But which players are you seeing that should be signed but are retired in the game?
Mark McGill was recently signed on 12/3 to the Dundee Comets (SNL) is one. I can't un retire him because the edit function is grayed out, even in commissioner mode.

Figures, I finally get aggressive with cleaning up the ton of retired UK guys who are still active in the database and somehow manage to find the one guy who unretires. He'll be back in the next update, but that's why he's not editable - he's actually set to retired in the initial database (and is therefore missing some internal data), so he's not editable like a guy who retires during the game would be.
Brandon Halverson is another who just signed with Bayreuth (Del 2). I'm sure you'll get all the recent signings in the next update. Just letting you know ;-)

I tried un-retiring Gump Worsley, but I am not finding a check box to do that.

If the devs retired the player you can't un-retire the player. What you can do is import him at the NHL edit screen while in commissioner mode.
