Blockville is leaving Early Access

Hey everyone, today we are releasing Blockville from Early Access, our Early Access plans didn't go as hoped from our launch and although we put our all into the game we couldn't for some reason get the traction we needed to have a successful Early Access campaign.

This is unfortunate as we had big ambitions for the game and we were really happy with game we designed and made. I guess you cannot win them all.

We would like to let everyone know though that if the game ever does pick up in the future we would love to spend more time on it and add to it. But we will have to see if that happens.

To everyone that bought the game I hope you enjoyed your time in the game and enjoyed everything it had to offer in its current state.

hi, the game is pretty nice but i had no sound in the demo, and even worse: i could barley zoom out. I scrolled and then i did not found my city anymore cause i could not scroll out to find it and there was no map. Very annoying. The scroll out / zoom factor is the biggest issue. Otherwise the german language would be good. So it's playable for more people. Ya, all together I really like the art....

Blockville has launched!

Hello everyone Rich here! We're happy to announce that we have just launched Blockville and the game is now available for purchase!

It's been a super exciting process and i've loved working on Blockville, its been really refreshing to work on a different game and experiment with a tonne of ideas.

Over a year ago we started off with some really basic concepts and now we have developed the game into a really nice place. I thought id drop some screens here of our early dev to show everyone how far we have come!

Base Building Festival!

Hey everyone! Come and check out our Blockville demo in the base building festival! We've made tonnes of progress to the game and today we wanted to share that with you all to see a sample of whats to come this April.

This week i'll be making a long video showing that we have done with e game, hopefully doing some live streams and generally getting feedback from everyone during last stages of development!

Map?

So, it seems that the map is the same for each game - will this change? It would be nice to have random maps so that each game is different. Also, finding a place to start isn't as easy as it appears as it's a bit dark when you look for somewhere to put down your townhall - or have I missed a light setting? Fun game though, look forward to seeing how it develops....

Seems like an alright game.

It seems no one wants to work at night even if I assign them to work at night though. Bridges need to be able to go over any river. Roads can't be placed through trees, nor any building. Trees need to disappear when we are trying to place items. This led me to staying only in my central "area" because I couldn't get citizens to anywhere else on the map. Also if no one is going to work at nighttime it's pretty boring just waiting through the night....

1. Are there any promotional content? (I.E. Anything only available for a limited time or more complicated than just buying DLC) 2. Is there anything permanently missable, even rewards for fulfilling specific conditions? 3. What systems will this game release on, and is it identical on all platforms? 4. Are there any bonuses for having save data from a different video game? 5. What might this game's ESRB rating be?...

Is it supposed to be like this? 17 minutes playtime notes.

Trying out the tutorial and are at the first road building section, trying to get any sort of correctly connected system, but the pieces doesn't fit together. The tutorial was just blazing ahead without me being ready for the next step. This was my third attempt to get the pieces to link up, but it seems like the grid and the pieces doesn't match up at all. Connecting the second and so on parking lot leaves a flashing male connector from both sides, using the linking up pieces (hovering over and placing...
