Menu isnt loading - UI broken

Hi all, when ennetring the game i just see background, no clickable icons are there, but i can click randomly and managed to even enter a saved game, but there also is no UI shown, its like playing in cinema mode.
Anyone knows when this will be fixed?

I've been having that for some three weeks now, but I didn't complain (yet) because I'm on Steam Deck... There seem to have been at least three updates to the game since I first got the issue.

The title is correct. The interface is not loading, but you can hear going over the buttons, if you move the mouse. Unfortunately I do not know how far that can get you.
This issue is the reason I came here, to open a thread (discussion?). I just opened the game and still the same, after at least a week of not checking.

I contacted support, got this response below, i did it and it works now:

Go to: C:\Users\yourusername\Games\Age of Mythology Retold\SteamID\usersç
Then open the UserProfile.xml
Find the line of code that reads <lastselectedciv>number<lastselectedciv>. Modify the number in this line to 1.
Save the changes, and test to see if the icons are back in the menu.

Or try contacting support and describe your issue, they responded in less then 1hr.
Hope it works for you too.

The fix works but it's painful af to have to do it any time you wanna play the game lol - surprised its been around so long without an update fixing it

Bro go to C:\Users\yourusername\Games\Age of Mythology Retold\SteamID (means a folder named as your steam ID number) \users

But the issue isn't solved, you'll must to set that configuration every time that you were going to play.

I am not 100% sure, but think this might be breaking the game a bit while you are playing. I plan to make a cron script to change the value every 10 minutes, if I manage to fix my keyboard, to see how that goes.
I just hope it's some horrific bug on the code side, because otherwise this is ridiculous. In a pretty bad way.
