Cannot play multiplayer (error 0001-0001-ffffff)

i have internet connection i could play online mythic strike vs a guy and after that i wanted to joing an open standard game (which already are way too hard to find) but then got disconnected and after that i couldn't do multiplayer anymore. always just get the notification error and thats it... i even deleted the game folder but this didn't fix it either...) any ideas? help please. really annoying.

The multiplayer servers were in maintenance when you sent this message. That might be the cause of this issue. If you are still experiencing this issue now that the maintenance is over, please reach out to our support : https://support.ageofempires.com/
