"Game is full or has already started", "Failed to join game"

Both of these errors appear whenever my friend attempts to join my hosted game or when I attempt to join hers. It pretends the room is either full or gone, and then says failed to join when either I attempt to join her room or she attempts to join mine. I don't remember the exact wording of the first error but you know what I mean.

Does anybody have a fix for this? This comes after the recent patch. I had the issue where the game wouldn't launch after pressing play, but I repaired the vcredist for C++ and it fixed the game for me. I already tried to do the same thing on her PC but it unfortunately does not fix this issue.

Let me know if anybody else has this issue and what your specs are!

Had this problem today. One of us had installed the latest update while the other hadn't. Installing the queued update fixed the problem.

This is clearly not the most clear way to indicate that there's a version mismatch between players. Hopefully they'll fix this usability issue.
