Chat message delay

I have a very long delay before my chat messages are sent. In the lobby it can take up to 30 seconds to send my message, when I get in game, it gets a little better

Was playing a 6v6 last night and it would take almost 2 minutes for flairs to show. Made it impossible to coordinate.
