Game Doesn't Open.... Not A Great Start

Soooo I'd heard this game is great and a massive fan of RTS in general so I bought the premium edition a few weeks ago. I got it downloaded and even got it to unpack.... but when I hit play just nothing. It instantly terminates I'll see it say running 100% then poof like I didn't even click the button. First time I thought I hadn't actually clicked it..... I closed steam, restarted my pc, redownloaded the game and nothing just instant close.

This... isn't a great start to the game for me.... I was kinda excited for this not going to lie. Like I said I'd heard great things.

Yeah overall just disappointed. I had plans for this game for tomorrow evening :/ But wanted to get things set up such as sound volume and such. See what this was all about. I'll put it to one side and check back tomorrow morning I guess.

This did solve the problem for me in the end so thank you, take an award. However the fact that it did not sort this itself is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Like is this some massive oversight by them or what? Don't a lot of games check this ♥♥♥♥ or do like an update?

Restart steam and if that doesn't work, restart PC. Worked for me and friends

At least provide some diagnostic info for people to have some context about your hardware/software?

The game loaded fine for me and I played for about 3 hours tonight.

Usually they install along side when you press play, don't know why it's not the casethis time.

Doesnt work this or restart PC, steam, running as a administrator too. What else can i do?
