Doesn't accept newest graphics driver

Game doesn't launch. Complains about too old graphics driver:

"Out of date driver detected...
ASUS Radeon RC 580 Series
Your Version: 31.0.21912.14
Recommended Version: 31.0.22017.3004"

This is an extremely picky requirement. Also 31.0.21912.14 is the upgrade that is available for download, so the version asked for is not available.

Have the exact same thing, believe it has something to do with the 'AMD Windows Driver Version' which is from Windows itself and not about AMD Adrenalin Drivers.

The game, however, runs smoothly thusfar

Yupp. I am using the Adrenalin Edition too. The version that downloaded 20 minutes before my post. I have never experienced that such a small difference in driver version causes a game to completely die. Since it runs at your machine, there may be an additional, unreported problem on mine.

I'm having same issue. version 31.0.22017.3004 is older version of AMD Graphics driver (released 23.10.2) So Strange. I guess this will be fixed in next game update

Same issue, and unfortuantely i'm not able to succeed the test to play ranked.
==> My GPU Radeon RX560X is not used at all and it's my Integrated GPU that is used
(Which is absolutely not dedicated to play video games)

i have an rx 580 too and i get the same pop-up but clicking okay launches the game

If the game is not openning go to Windows Update and check if there's the updates KB5041585 and KB5041587 waiting to install, after i installed those the game started to work.

Una solucion que me funciono fue : ir a la ubicación de los archivos y en la primera pestaña ejecutar "gamelaunchhelper", por lo menos a mi si me funciona con mi rx 580.

A solution that worked for me was: go to the file location and in the first tab run “gamelaunchhelper”, at least it works for me with my rx 580.

f this error, im in the same situation. I wait for decades for this moment and i cant play the game :)

The game come with Xbox Pass so i downloaded there, also from Microsoft Store

i did everything to repair that issue and there is no solution.

And I thought RTS didn't need high end Graphics cards..

Honestly I don't care when I need to scale down the graphic options in the game to make it playable, but when a RX 580 causes the game not even starting?

Guess I'm lucky that even though the 'error message' the game is still playable for me.

I feel the desperation guys, I hope that it will work with the next patch.

Now says "drivers out of date" intelR uhd g.
I dont use that one any way ...

So I have a 570 8gb from Asus and I have to say it starts without any problems apart from the message about the driver. But I only managed to get 660 points on the bench, even though according to the official values I should be able to play it at 60fps in FHD.
