Please tell me how to beat loki

I lose every time i face loki and even thou I know 100% what he is going to do i can never beat that god. Every time it is super fast up time with 14/15 vills and then constant stream of units that are straight up better early game than anything else i can field within that 2 minute timeframe. Even if i manage to defend and take good trades in second age he just comes back later in third age with flaming weapons power that last for a whole minute and just steam rolls me with 25% better counter damage that demolishes my army and soon after my base. Then he also occasionally spawns myth units out of thin air when just fighting boosting his hyper agressive nature even more.

that's the ideal game plan for norse. I can give advice how to beat him but idk what major god you're using. as greek spam toxotes defensively or hippoken offencively(norse have horrible defense at home), as eggy open with 5-10 axemen and 2-3 priests to contest middle to prevent him building there. as atty... idk how this match up works as i dont play atty. As china, accept your death, spam cho ko nus, and then try the hail mary.

oh yes, and if you're norse (thor's the best for this) get lots of throwing axemen and contest middle (or where ever he intends to build his production). as soon as he sees your axemen he's going to build cavalry, so immediatly switch to hirdmen once you make contact. building RCs and valkery instead is an option after the axemen opener.

Follow a build order, get watchtowers, defend while boosting your economy, counterattack with petrobolos once you hit Heroic Age. Win. You can counter flaming weapons with cease fire if you are playing Poseidon or frost, or many other god powers no doubt.
