Why oxcarts are not trained units?
It made more sense and was better balanced for them to be trained.

They used the way Mule Carts work in AoE2DE as a basis.

It is better this way, as now teh Ox Carts do not stop Villager production when you make them, and can be made next to resource, instead of slowly moved to it.

Also with Vills now building Houses and Farms (they always could make Farms but not Houses), getting another option in their build list is more elegant.

funny enough I think the change is good FOR balance reasons. Used to be sniping an oxcart was devastating for the norse player since they have to dedicate TC time to building a new one. The need to not build an oxcart was so bad that as a Thor player I would commenly drop my dwarven gold mine in the first age next to the town center so I would have my starting ox cart available from the get go, it never felt great.

I was so used to building oxcarts at the town center, it took a moment for me to figure out how I could get more oxcarts. For a minute, I thought I was stuck with just one oxcart because of a bug.
That's my only issue with the new system.
