So are anti wokies. Both sides are rubbish.
Nah for real.
Woke, when used in original sense (= being aware of social injustice, originally used in the US around the 50s) is a good thing.
Woke in today's sense as dropping a buzzword, is rubbish. So is anti woke acting fragile every time when they feel like something's woke.
In todays sense, Woke means deliberately inserting progressive themes in order to educate audiences about social injustices or promote a specific political ideology, which affects the quality of the writing negatively.
This is often misinterpreted to mean that the presence of women (outside of damsels in distress or trad-wifes), non-white people, or non-heterosexual characters is in itself a detriment to quality storytelling, when it is demonstrably not, see movies like Terminator 2, Alien, Men in Black, and many others, as well as the original Avatar: the last Airbender cartoon series.
It's not impossible that people will call Amanra woke smh
What matters is if the game is fun.
People don't buy AoM to look at portraits, they buy to play an RTS. What matters is the actual gameplay.
You can have a game with the worst MS paint art imaginable, but if it's fun people will buy it.
Thank you.
people want that is right, not what is pushed wrong.
