They cancelled the DLC for AoE3 recently, so there is a lot of talk that there won't be any more content after the 2nd new civ.

I'm pretty sure they're just bleeding money on everything that's not aoe2 at this point, but they're contractually obliged to deliver.
For Egyptians, Apophis and Khnum would be good choices, and I'd use them and Hathor as minor gods, and Amun as the major one, if it was my call.
Will they bring additional major gods for existing pantheons at all, to balance out Norse having 4? We don't know. We just want to believe it.
You can buy the game once, and then play every day for years, once a week for a year, or not at all, and you paid the same amount of money.
Or does everyone assume, those not playing concurrently every day refunded the game?
As many pros who remain in the old versions usually say: more is not necessarily better.
