Hotkeys for Select All of Type on Screen

We currently have select all heroes, myth, infantry etc. but it selects across the entire map. We also already have the functionality of selecting all of a given type on the screen by double clicking on a unit.

It would be good to bind these actions instead which would help micro fights without the need of constant control group management, or selecting people way over the map who are assigned on other things. Thoughts?

you can select all units on screen (specific hotkey) and then with SHIFT you can select wanted unit from UI. Advantage of this is that you do not need to search for specific unit on screen durring battle chaos to double click on it...

Fair point, I do already use that a lot so I will try it out. I suppose it comes down to split seconds when you want to assign targets to your troops, using this method is still an extra click "select units on screen + shift click the type + then click on target" as apposed to dedicated keybinds for types on screen.
