I like Total Ear Troy a lot...
Age of Empires / Mythology and Total War are completely different genres, AoE/M is classib RTS with base building, unit production and TW is tuen based grand strategy with real time tactical battles.
I like both, but these are not comparable...
TW does a better work to portray the Trojan War
Wrong, Gamers were asking for and Age of Mytology 2. I was there gandalf
Specially when it's not even faithful to the original in terms of the rts base. They had a great jumping point here with these new additions, they just needed a new campaign of 32 scenarios.
It doesn't take a lot of research but to look at the aom tubers and streamers in their suggestions for aom2.
They will have new races and stuff later down the line.
That said, what you said up there, its the point. I want the original game that I played WAY back in the day to experience it again with more modern gfx and what not.
I have both, the problem is not AOE4, is that AOE2 players are so dead set into that game that it does not matter what comes out, they will stick with the original.
