China's expansion was a good DLC I'd say for AOM it's an 8/10
So far the campaign, civ, myth units and overall mechanics have been good and unique. I like how far you guys have come since TOTD. It's lore friendly and I can see how much work has been in it, love the fact you guys explained in the campaign what the myth unit's are and give an overall explanation of the gods through the story. the voice acting overall was fine and nice some akward moment's but most were actually really good and kept the situation in mind which you could hear in the voice.

Overall I'd say it's comparable in quality with the titan expansion.

Keep it up and can't wait for the next dlc.

for me, it's a 10/10. My only concern is their balance in winrate. Nuwa's and Fuxis demigods seem quite strong, especially with Gonggong (in other words, Gonggong is too strong-strong, 11).

10 out of 10! Playing AOM since 2002...
I would agree with 8/10, new civ mechanics, units, god powers are creative and fun.

Voice acting is okay, I would rather have it more in line with the original game but they also changed Greeks so I guess this is the direction.

About the campaign... albeit a low bar it is definitely better than TOTD. Story felt rushed and campaign felt short to me. We were only interacting with other pantheons in one level and it was a no build mission. Titans handled that better I think playing as and against more diverse civilizations. However the missions we had were fun to play and they did had good maps.

On a slightly unrelated note, I would love them release a campaign only DLC with a really long one or couple shorter ones. Since then attention won't be split between designing new civilization and will be focused on the campaign.
Considering how much Tale of the Dragon was a stain on AOM's legacy, I'd say new Chinese are leaps and bounds ahead of what we used to have.

Agreed. I wonder if they're going to add hero campaigns like the Iliad or the Odyssey. Then again, they already had the siege of Troy, so it's unlikely.

Brilliant DLC, and it meshes really well with the existing factions. I can see AoM becoming the best AOE game in the series. I'm really reminded of the forgotten, (but incredibly amazing) Rise of Legends now. Go grab a copy of that awesome game from eBay while you still can, because if you like AoM, you'll LOVE that... ;-)

It is a really long war, they definitively could do it. Maybe they shift the focus to Achilles since we don't see him in FoT, then switch back to Odysseus after the Trojan War.

Or we can have the Trojan's perspective until we face our inevitable defeat led by Arkantos
