You can use some units to help slow down Chiyou, or by building stuff in the way. The flying units you get can help take down the extra myth units that help him.
And it is possible to kill him without the help of Xiantian by massing heroes.
Personally, my big mistake was when I went and hit their base with all my units and the AI sent a wave to my base on the other route. I already hit the population cap so no more units could train and they knocked a bunch of my walls, towers, and buildings down while I rush my cavalry back to base. I ended up just throwing away some villagers just to slow them down lol.
At the beggining build ur TCs so you can fast build the economy. At the same time look for underworld passages to get your atlantean heroes and send them to ajax to help him out against the 1st waves of the titan. Having your dragons there also helps and dont focus the chuyio titan or whatever its called. Focus the smaller myth units,
Defending your home is also important. Build walls to protect your sages and your main economy with some few castles build around them to hold the enemy waves attacking your base and your sage. A good tip is you can also build an army to defend there.
When Chuyio is at eitri's base you should already have a very strong economy with tons of gold and wood saved and pretty much made a strong defence on your sages and economy. Your next move should be making 6-7 academys(worked for me) and spam the pioneers as armys. I got around 50 of them and kept replacing them with chuyio next to the wonder and still he couldn't get pass them and destroy it. Also you can kill him without your titan. After you defeat him just bring your entire army and titan to destroy the enemy base.
You might need to keep training another army cause the enemy also keeps making armies there and your titan can die too so it might take some effort to kill the enemy.
The two paths I found most effective are thinning out his myth unit death ball, while Chuyio will still cleave through everything if he has to take them out himself it dramatically slows them down. You can also quite easily kite him back and forth with your heroes.
An effective tool for this are your flying myth units(you start with the dragon and get free ones at random) since the only thing that can shoot up the enemy has are the sages he spawns so as long as you stand behind the front line you should have no difficulty. You can also send the flying myth units to just spawn camp and delay his reinforcements so you dont have to worry about the sages as much, since the total amount seems limited and he only spawns new ones if they are killed.
Unsure if you're still looking for some discussion on this, but as some other posters above have suggested, kiting Chiyou around seems to work well to at least get the gate finished. I don't like how sages are suddenly used to make a building in the final mission... when they're your primary source of healing, but it is what it is. I recommend walling off the north side of the valley against red and building a mass of towers/castles with a few units to handle any siege crossbows, while using heros to kite chiyou around. If you can get the favor for it, spam the flying tigers. Their tankiness is great and typically the red computer will send one or two heroes at most that can be focus fired while myth units mop up any cavalry/infantry. Once you have the titan freed and chiyou is down you'll need to finish off the computer, so it's good to keep in mind you'll need some infrastructure after the titan phase is done.
This, cannot move him either
he does get stuck for like 30 secs then starts moving
I used that second blue base, that first green one dies too fast and ended with something around 100 pioneers, with support of your free lightning dragon and some water dragons that get rallied there over time from temple.
That upper part at your titan gate is really a non issue, I used my starting force, 3 bonus gates I found nearby and build around 6 walls, with advanced defense that gives you something around 6 quintilions of towers you can instabuild, all provide favour ground and will melt absolutely everything.
Pioneers did actually bully the big bull while I still had around 3k left on titan gate, after that just A-move your army into enemy base,
